Update: West Kent Dermatology Services Commissioning

NHS West Kent Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has taken the decision to halt the current procurement process for the Level 3 (community) dermatology services.   This is due to a review that is required in relation to the Level 4 specialist service and the fact that the CCG must ensure co-ordination across the wider dermatology services, so that all pathways are effectively connected.

The CCG will approach the provider market in due course once the position has been fully assessed.  Providers that took part in the halted process will be contacted to advise when any new procurement process will begin.  It will be advertised in line with the relevant legislative requirements.

The Contracting Authority made the original  announcement as soon as possible, but regrets that these developments have occurred after the tender deadline. This update is provided in order to advise providers of the position.  The Authority would like to thank providers for their continued interest in working with them and for their time and effort invested to date.
