Take action now: new SECAmb clinical summary process for GPs

User AvatarPosted by Daniel Harper at 30/05/2018 13:50:12

South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) will soon be transitioning to a new method for sending clinical summaries and other clinical documents from the Trust to GP surgeries across Kent, Medway, Surrey and Sussex.

If your practice hasn’t already done so, you need to take some simple actions now which are outlined in the following document.

This guide clearly explains the changes and provides important instructions that some GP surgeries will need to follow for them to start receiving documents from SECAmb’s Intelligence Based Information System (IBIS) via Docman Connect / MESH (Message Exchange for Social Care & Health).

If you have any questions or experience any issues receiving clinical documents from SECAmb, or need help setting up the system please email IBIS@secamb.nhs.uk.
